The UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) are an organisation who are focussed on bringing together the UK’s sustainable finance and investment community. They aim to support their members to expand, enhance and promote the sustainable finance sector. They have over 300 members (including Ethical Futures) who manage over £19 trillion of assets and represent a wide array of areas such as investment managers, pension funds, banks, non-governmental organisations and financial advisers.
UKSIF and their members work closely with policymakers and others to find new ways to overcome barriers to the growth of sustainability. They are hugely active in, and are supportive of, efforts to promote sustainable finance.
Their vision is to have a fair, inclusive and sustainable financial system that works for the benefit of people and planet and drives positive change.
Ethical Futures are proud to be members of UKSIF and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside them. This year, Julian and Marian attended their Spring Conference where Julian was asked to speak on a panel regarding the cost of living crisis (click here).
Good Money Week is an initiative started by UKSIF in 2005. Each year, at the beginning of October, UKSIF host a range of events with the aim of helping the public to make better choices with their finances and to better understand the positive impact they can have on the environment due to their financial decisions. UKSIF encourage everyone to take part and this year, Ethical Futures have been working hard to put together a series of content for our clients and the wider public to enjoy. So, look out for a new blog post every day this week, our new guide to Ethical Banking and our reviewed commitment to our office recycling.
