What is it and how can you get involved?
What if the choices you make with your savings, pensions or investments could actually help shape a better world? That’s exactly what Good Money Week is all about. It gives us a chance to pause, reflect and act on how our money can support causes we care about.
Good Money Week is a UKSIF initiative that celebrates ethical finance and responsible investing. Its goal is simple – to raise awareness of the power that our money holds. By choosing banks, funds and investments that align with our values, we can make a real difference.
It’s easy to think of finance as just numbers and paperwork, but the reality is that every penny has influence. How we manage our money not only affects our security and retirement, but also the legacy we leave behind. Choosing ethical finance isn’t just about doing good – it's about making sure our money works for the world we want to see.
This year Good Money week is running from the 6th to the 12th of October. UKSIF will be hosting a range of events which aim to help the public understand how to make better choices with their finances. They want to give the public agency and to encourage them to utilise the power their money has. UKSIF likes to encourage everyone to get involved and find ways to take part. We’ve happily taken up the challenge and this year, amongst other things, we will be launching the results of this year’s client survey.
