You should have recently received a letter from us sharing a rather exciting bit of news with you. As of the 31st of December 2025, we will be joining forces with Origen Financial Services. 

Celebrating our 20th anniversary in September gave us a chance to look back on everything we’ve achieved since 2005. We have built a thriving team, championed ethical investment, and helped clients to use their money to shape a better future. It has been a privilege to support so many life journeys and help people align their finances with their values. 

Over the past year, we’ve also been looking to the future. In October, one of our founding partners, Martin Wight, retired due to ill health. His absence has been deeply felt, and we know that many of you will join us in wishing him well. As a small team, we’ve supported each other to maintain the level of service that our clients have come to expect, but we also recognised that there is only so much we can do. We needed to find a partner who shares our vision for values-led financial advice. 

That’s where Origen comes in. 

Origen Financial Services is an award-winning financial planning firm. As part of the Aegon UK family, they have a strong heritage in ethical investment and a genuine commitment to sustainability. Most importantly, they understand what we do and want to help us continue. 

So, what happens next? 

Our whole team will be moving over to Origen, so there will be familiar voices on the phone. We’ll also be staying at our Mansfield Place office for the foreseeable future. We hope that from your perspective, things will stay much the same.  

The big changes are happening behind the scenes. For example, Julian will be pulling back from advice and will be focusing on management, branding, and training. Origen will be offering our team enhanced training and career development opportunities as well as improving and streamlining our services. 

Our priority is to make this transition as smooth as possible. Change is rarely simple, but this is a change that strengthens who we are and ensures that we can continue to grow and serve our clients for years to come.  

To make sure that you have continuity of service and continue to benefit from the Ethical Futures service, there is one thing that you need to do. 

Origen will be sending you a letter which encloses an authority form which authorises them to take over servicing responsibility for your investments and policies. Please sign this form and return it to them as soon as possible. That way, come January we will be able to ensure that servicing continues smoothly.
